  1. Lovely pictures, as always! Jack’s emergent writing is fab, it’s always fascinating watching children’s writing skills develop and I love that you waited and let him do it in his own time – the learning and understanding is so much deeper when the motivation comes from within…

Here’s what we’ve been doing this week: http://twoofeverythingblog.co.uk/project-52-2/

  2. Such a fabulous way to document your children’s activities. I wrote a journal but I wish I’d done something like this when my kids were young. Digital cameras and blogs make it so easily accessible.

  3. The microscope is amazing. Looks enticing, even for me!

So what ARE those gray plastic things?

    1. The microscope is really cool. The slides they have are really fascinating too. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful science museum here, and so affordable too.
Those grey plastic things are actually structures for a curricular wooden train set. But Jack would topple onto it, frustrating him, and so I didn’t have it out. He came across the plastic pieces (I was going to donate them) and thought they looked like sky-scrapers and wanted to play 🙂 So now they are out again but in a new way.
