  1. Hello Kate! Hope you’re feeling nice and settled in….magna tiles ….where did you source them? Are they the the ‘real deal’….so around $ 150? Just seeing if you hunted down a reduced price?!

    1. Hi Julia 🙂 Lovely to hear from you. Yes, these are the Valtech Magna-tiles. I bought them from Fishpond. I got the 100pc transparent set for $199. This is the only supplier I could find in Australia (or will ship to Australia). There is also a 32pc set.

  2. Very interesting the magnatiles. where do you have it form?
    Nice weekreview 🙂

    1. I bought ours from Fishpond. You can also buy them on Amazon. There is a link at the bottom of the post 🙂

  3. You are not going to regret the magnatiles. Ours get daily play still. I am even playing with the idea of buying another set.
Looks like a lovely week Kate!

    1. You’re never quite sure are you when you spend a lot on a material. But you are right, as soon as Jack and Sarah saw them I knew they were a great investment. They have stayed out all week and have been played with several times a day. Often right up until bed time. They are really wonderful, aren’t they? Do you have the 100pc set?

      1. We startedby trying the 32 piece set. But the 100 set is on the way. I’m happy that we’ll have so many pieces, I can see loads of construction ahead.

        1. I think you might be right. I am glad I got the 100 pc set. Jack and Sarah will often build with every tile. They love them so much and build with them several times a day. Definitely don’t regret this purchase. Let’s hope yours get there soon 🙂

  4. I always love seeing your week!

    1. Thanks Emily 🙂 I like seeing our week like this too. Reminds me of all the happy things we did through the week. Even when I’m feeling tired or looking at a pile of washing to be folded 🙂

  5. Lovely site! Just wanted to mention that spelt is a type of wheat and therefore not gluten-free.

    1. Yeah my husband is wheat intolerant not coeliac so we use GF flour usually. This was my first time using spelt and was interested to see how it went. Turned out nicely 🙂

  6. Lovely pics of your weekly journey Kate…I really love that T-Rex! Am still trying to decide on the magna tiles so It’s good to get your opinion!
