A Very Busy August

You know when you are happily plodding along and all of a sudden you realise that you have about a hundred things to do and they all need to be done at around the same time? Well that is what August is looking like for me.

As you know for the past month or so I’ve been writing for Kidspot. In August I’ll be busy (happily busy) writing lots of new posts for an upcoming feature in September, that along with my regular Playful LearningΒ and Childhood 101 posts, well I’m going to be one busy gal.

So I thought I might just pop in here sporadically for the next month, maybe share some photos in my This Week… posts, but mostly take a little bit of a break.

It won’t be all writing though, our garden is starting to show signs of awakening from its winter slumber. We’ve not much time left to transplant trees, prune our blossoming trees and tackle the large overgrown arbour of grapevines.

So until next time we chat… have a lovely August. And if you’re fortunate enough to be in the Northern Hemisphere, enjoy that glorious summer sunshine. While our daffodils may be blooming, it is still very much winter here.

  1. Trust me its not all glorious sunshine here on the Northern hemisphere. We came out of a week of close to 100 degrees (thats Fahrenheit)and its still extremely muggy

  3. Sounds like a very sensible idea to have a break from those things you can! I don’t know how you squeeze it all in with your two small ones. Enjoy having one less commitment for a while! πŸ™‚

  5. Be seeing you!! x
