The afternoon sunshine streams beautifully through the door of our homeschool studio. And with the sun setting earlier these autumn days, we are often still in the studio to feel its warmth.

A couple weeks ago I was flicking through the ZartArt catalogue (very dangerous!) looking for some paints and came across these wonderful mobiles (product #MX001 – 10 pack for $10.25). Doesn’t the clear arch and rings just look so lovely? Like they are inviting you in to add some colour and sparkle.

In the afternoon we threaded; talking about colours and different patterns, every now and then, stopping to see how well our work sparkled in the sun.

They turn gently in the breeze and catch the late afternoon sun, spreading colour across the room.

The mobiles come in a pack of ten so would be wonderful for an art group or homeschool co-op session. They would also look amazing with feathers or autumn leaves 🙂
