A Blind River
"An Australian family adopted the Korean Sung-Chan thirty years ago. His acquaintance with a Korean girl suddenly sparks a desire to find his biological mother. But a great deal of time has passed and all traces are gone. He returns to his original homeland in an attempt to find the place where he was abandoned. The journey creates emotional confusion and brings back fragmented memories, but Sung-Chan is unable to make sense of his life story. Then, like in a strange dream, an encounter with a mother and her child in a motel carries him back into the past." Quoting the synopsis from the 2009 Zurich Film Festival site.
