
Alexander Parvus
Alexander Lvovich Parvus, born Israel Lazarevich Gelfand (September 8, 1867 – December 12, 1924) and sometimes called Helphand in the literature of the Russian Revolution, was a Marxist theoretician, revolutionary, and controversial activist in the Social Democratic Party of Germany.
