Blind Spot
Frustrated by his struggles as a mystery writer, Jeff Andrews (Chester Morris) visits publisher Henry Small (William Forrest). Interrupting Small's meeting with another writer, Jeff launches into a new murder plot idea, which the publisher rejects. Later, Small's secretary finds Jeff at a nearby bar and confides that Small attacked her. Outraged, the inebriated Jeff returns to Small's office -- only to discover the publisher murdered in a similar manner to a character in Jeff's unwritten book.
