Café Transit

Reyhan (Fereshteh Sadre Orafaiy), a recently widowed woman living on the Iranian-Turkish border, causes controversy when she defies societal conventions by reopening her late husband's roadside café -- without a man's help. Her lascivious brother-in-law, Nassir (Parviz Parastoei), offers to save her from shame by marrying her, but she refuses custom and rejects his offer. Still, her café thrives, as does her blossoming relationship with a kind Grecian truck driver, Zakario (Nikos Papadopoulos).
