Catherine Murphy

Catherine Murphy (born 1 September 1953) is an Irish Social Democrats politician who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Kildare North constituency since the 2011 general election, at first as an independent and later representing the Social Democrats, of which she is the co-founder and joint leader. She previously served as an independent TD for Kildare North from 2005 to 2007.
