David Stiles

Prior to joining agámi Systems, Dave Stiles served as the Chief Architect at Redback Networks. He was responsible for integrating high-performance silicon, system hardware and software to deliver next-generation packet networking products. Prior to Redback Networks, he was the founding CEO of Siara Systems (now Redback). Prior to Siara, he was Chief Architect of Cerent Corporation (now Cisco), developing advanced fiber telecommunications products. Prior to joining Cerent Corporation, he was at Nexgen Microsystems (now AMD) developing advanced processor architectures and leading silicon development teams that eventually led to the development of the AMD K6 and Athlon microprocessors. Dave is an investor in, director of, and/or technical advisor for numerous private technology companies. He holds dozens of patents in processors, telecommunications, and networking. Dave holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering Computer Sciences from MIT.
