Didier Reynders

Didier J.L. Reynders (born 6 August 1958) is a Belgian politician and a member of the Mouvement Réformateur (MR). He held various positions in public institutions before becoming a member of the House in 1992. He has been a minister without interruption since 1999: Federal Minister of Finance until December 2011 in six different governments, then Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade Foreign Affairs and European Affairs in two governments. Following the government crisis of December 2018, he inherited in addition to the post of Minister of Defense.
