
Dwight Powell
Dwight Harlan Powell (born July 20, 1991) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for Stanford University and is a member of the Canadian national team. He was assigned multiple times to the Texas Legends during his rookie season. On March 6, 2019, Powell set a career high with 26 points in a 132–123 loss to the Washington Wizards. On April 3, 2019, he scored 25 points in a 110–108 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. After exercising his option for the 2019–20 season, he signed a contract extension with the Mavericks on July 6, 2019.
