Ed Westwick, a renowned British actor and musician, was born in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England, on June 27, 1987. His foray into the world of acting began at an early age under his parents' encouragement, both educators. He trained at the National Youth Theatre in London, which laid a solid foundation for his subsequent career. There, he embraced his love for performing arts, honing his skills in drama. Westwick rose to international fame by playing the role of Chuck Bass in the popular teen drama series Gossip Girl, from 2007 to 2012. His portrayal of the manipulative and privileged playboy won hearts worldwide, fetching him several prestigious awards including two Teen Choice Awards. Parallel to his acting career, Westwick also dabbled in music. He was part of the British indie rock band "The Filthy Youth", where he showcased his versatile talent as a vocalist. In addition to his television appearances, Westwick has featured in several films with noteworthy performances. He starred in Son of Rambow (2007), S. Darko (2009), and most notably in Romeo & Juliet (2013) as Tybalt. As his career progressed, Westwick continued to explore diverse roles, demonstrating his adaptability as an actor.
