Edward Lichty

Edward Lichty is VUDU’s Chief Operating Officer. Edward is responsible for VUDU’s day-to-day operations and oversees engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and marketing operations. Prior to joining VUDU, Edward spent eight years in various roles at TiVo Inc. Most recently, Edward served as Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development, where he helped guide overall corporate strategy and built and managed partnerships with DIRECTV, Comcast, AOL and Sony, among others. Edward also oversaw TiVo’s emerging broadband content business initiative. Early in his tenure at TiVo, Edward was responsible for creating the company’s initial financial model and maintained day-to-day management of TiVo’s successful IPO in 1999. Prior to joining TiVo, Edward was a member of the finance team at International Wireless Communications, a wireless service provider with operating companies in Latin America and Asia. There, he helped craft the company's business model and helped coordinate the company's fundraising. Edward began his career in the investment banking group at Stephens Inc., a privately held firm located in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he worked on a variety of MA transactions and private equity investments for the Stephens family.Edward holds a B.A. in American Studies from Yale University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
