Lawrence Kramer

Lawrence Kramer is an American musicologist and composer. His academic work is closely associated with the humanistic, culturally oriented New Musicology, now more often referred to as cultural or critical musicology. Alastair Williams describes Kramer as "a pioneering figure in the reconstruction of musicology, creatively applying theoretical developments to the study of music".
