Mark Berner

As Senior Vice President of Operations, Mark Berner is responsible for the development and day to day operation of AirPlay’s service. Mark has been in senior management positions within the game industry for the last 17 years, including 7 years pioneering the field of interactive television. Prior to AirPlay, Mark was Head of Technology for AOL Games. From 1999 - 2001 Mark worked at Electronic Arts as Director of Engineering where he led the team that built out the EA.com site in ten short months. EA.com was launched with over 40 games, and has since grown to be one of the most popular gaming sites on the Internet. Mark was also the Director of Game Development for WorldPlay Entertainment from 1995-1998. Mark’s first experience with play along television was from 1989-1995 at Interactive Network where Mark was the Director of Software Development. Mark has a BA degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He also holds several patents for interactive game technologies.
