Michael Lowry is an American actor best known for his role as Jake Martin on All My Children and appeared in over 400 episodes from 1996 to 2000. Coincidentally, just prior to entering school he guest-starred as defense attorney in one of the last episodes of the long-running, original "Law & Order" series. Lowry grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and attended Oregon State University in Corvallis majored in biology. He planned to attend medical school before show business plans took him another direction. He was a member of the fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon.
