Paul Bloom

Paul is the vice president of products and marketing of Avvo. In this role, Paul oversees all product management and marketing for the company. Prior to co-founding Avvo, Paul was the senior director of new product marketing at Classmates Online, a pioneer in the online community space with over 38 million members. In this role Paul led the development and marketing for all of the company's new products and services. Classmates was acquired by United Online in the fall of 2004. Prior to Classmates, Paul was vice president and general manager at Apex Learning, a venture-backed online learning company, where he oversaw the company's product management, marketing and business development efforts. Before Apex Learning, Paul spent seven years at Microsoft Corporation where he held various senior management positions in Microsoft's Consumer Division. Paul holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
