Nelson (Peter Weller) is a criminal -- an expert in cracking safes -- but he's ready to start living a normal life. His retirement plans, however, are short-lived. Nelson's brother, Mike (Angus MacFadyen), gets into some serious trouble with gambling debts and calls upon Nelson for his shady expertise. In order to rescue his brother, Nelson plots to go out big with one final diamond heist, recruiting Art (Bryan Brown), a fellow expert in the field of robbery, to help out.
