
Tebey
Tebey Solomon Ottoh (born October 14, 1983) is a Canadian country music singer and multi-genre songwriter. Living and working out of Nashville, Tennessee, the Peterborough, Ontario native has four albums under his belt, including his latest EP “Love A Girl” (released April 27, 2018) which features his GOLD-certified single “Denim on Denim” and his latest No.1 single, “Who’s Gonna Love You”. In November 2018, Tebey was on the national, coast-to-coast Get Loud Tour with Tim Hicks, as direct support. Tebey has twice achieved the most played Canadian country song of the year: “Somewhere in the Country” (2013) and his version of “Wake Me Up” (2014), a GOLD-certified single. His 2003 "We Shook Hands (Man to Man)", reached No. 47 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts and was a Top 5 single on the Canadian country music charts. As a writer, Tebey scored his first US Billboard No. 1 song in October 2017 with “Somebody Else Will” (performed by Justin Moore) and has multiple No. 1’s internationally with artists such as Shawn Desman and Pixie Lott. He’s written songs for the likes of One Direction, Fifth Harmony, FLO RIDA, Cher, Nick Carter, JLS, Emerson Drive, Jimmy Rankin, Doc Walker, Big & Rich, The Veronicas, Justin Moore, Chad Brownlee, Gord Bamford and more. Tebey is also a studio talent; he has won Producer of the Year and has been nominated three times at various Canadian award ceremonies. In addition, he will be adding business owner to his resume, as he is set to start his own company in 2019 in partnership with his long-time manager, Jill Snell. Outside of music, Tebey’s passion is his annual charity golf tournament (Tebey Golf Classic Fundraiser) in Peterborough, Ontario - where all proceeds support local mental health organizations.
