Tronji
Tronji is a CG animated TV series and a multiplayer online game, produced in the United Kingdom and aimed at children aged six to eight years. It was commissioned by CBBC, produced by Ragdoll Productions and will be distributed globally by BBC Worldwide. Anne Wood, who is executive producer, developed the initial concept and a team of in-house Creatives generated many of the themes in the show - children on a quest, a comic overseer, magic gems, etc. Andrew Davenport came on board and devised the television format for Tronji, wrote the voiceovers and created characters such a TronjiI and TronjiO and The Great Eek, and is series producer. Alan Dapre and Joel Wilenius wrote the majority of the complex narratives, creating stories in both our world and the People World, and they created over 80 characters and 40 landscapes between them. The TV series launched on CBBC in May, 2009, and the Beta version of the online game is available to download.
