WAAF

WAAF is a Boston, Massachusetts, area commercial mainstream rock radio station that mixes music that is popular in the modern rock, heavy metal and classic rock genres. The station's studios are located in Boston's Allston district and the transmitter site is in Boylston. Originally the station targeted the Worcester, Massachusetts market, but by the mid-1980s, WAAF had begun to direct most of its attention to the Boston radio market.
