Wagon Team

Special investigator Gene Autry (Gene Autry) suspects that "the Apache Kid" (Dick Jones) knows the whereabouts of a stolen Army payroll, so he ignores the objections of the local sheriff and goes undercover as the Kid's new cellmate. After the Kid escapes, Autry tracks him to his family's traveling medicine show and tries to convince him and his sister, Connie (Gail Davis), of his good intentions. A gang of outlaws closes in on Autry and the Kid while they decide what to do.
