We TV is an American pay television channel that has been owned by AMC Networks since its launch in September 1997. It mainly focuses on lifestyle and entertainment programming. We TV was originally called Romance Classics but was later renamed. As of February 2015, approximately 85.2 million American households, which is about 73.2% of households with television, received We TV. In March 2015, AMC announced that it would make its channels available to cord cutters, including AMC, BBC America, IFC, Sundance TV, and We TV itself.
