WPBC
WPBC AM 1310 is an Atlanta AM radio station broadcasting on a frequency of 1310 kHz. In mid-December, 2012 WBPC-AM came back on the air broadcasting under an agreement with The Talk Radio, LLC, headed by longtime Latino community figure Teodoro Maus. During full-power daytime operation, the station is in Spanish with a talk radio format; and at night it once again featured Reggie Gay's Gospel Music service. As of July 2012, The station programming was restructured; with a news-heavy morning drive time show until 10am, followed by the two-hour call-in show GLAHR Informa; then hour long call in shows; three hours of news and commentary programming simulcast with a Mexican network; with a drive-time talk and music show, "De todo un poco,"—literally "a little of everything"—closing out the Spanish-language programming. The station has a heavy emphasis on issues affecting the Latino immigrant community. In July 2011 HANMI BROADCASTING, INC. had requested a Silent STA for WPBC-A/DECATUR, GA after an LMA ended abruptly. In April 2011 the station entered into a Local Marketing Agreement with WZBN's Reggie Gay and adopted WZBN's format of Contemporary Gospel/Holy Hip Hop music.
