WWTX
WWTX is a sports talk formatted radio station in Wilmington, Delaware. The station has local programming, along with coverage from Fox Sports Radio. As of 2012, WWTX carries Baltimore Orioles baseball and Baltimore Ravens football games as well as Delaware High School football and basketball games. WWTX carries some University of Delaware athletic events, including all women's basketball games, with its sister station WDSD in Dover, Delaware. The station formerly hosted Wilmington Blue Rocks minor league baseball games, as well as "In the Zone" with Rich Quinones, which was the stations' most listened to show in the entire state. Quinones is the most well known host to come out of the station and his show consisted of national guests as well as local content on a daily basis. Quinones was the sole reason the station garnered first time ratings in Arbitron in the 2009 Spring Book. The station has not achieved any success since they cut local programming and went back to running Fox Sports Programming. During that time Quinones earned several local awards via the DPA as well as national recognition on several levels for his outstanding broadcast on 1290 The Ticket.
