Xtep International Holdings Limited is a publicly traded sportswear company headquartered in Quanzhou, Fujian, China. It is engaged in the design, development, manufacture and sales of sportswear under the company-owned "Xtep" brand and "Koling" brand and the Disney Sports brand. It was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in June 2008. On 18 January 2010, Xtep released a press statement confirming they had secured a five-year kit sponsorship deal worth around £7m with English Premier League club Birmingham City. Birmingham's vice chairman Peter Pannu hailed the deal as "the biggest sponsorship the club has acquired" and stated that "Xtep are big players in the sportswear market in China and this partnership will expand the Birmingham City FC brand in the Far East." However on 29 June 2012 Birmingham City announced that they scrapped the five-year deal. On 22 July 2011, Xtep announced a five-year cooperation agreement with Spanish La Liga giant Villarreal CF for a kit sponsorship deal.
