The 40 Best Anime Characters With Tattoos, Ranked

Anime characters with tattoos are rare, so we're letting you vote for the best ones. Can you name more than a handful? If not, that's why we created this list of the coolest anime characters with tattoos. Take Ace's Whitebeard tattoo in One Piece, or Renji from Bleach and Kamina from Gurren Lagann, who sport tribal tattoos that seem to be just for show. Tattoos can symbolize a character's bond with a group or serve as a reminder of their past, like Nami's tattoo from Arlong. Many fans have even adopted these anime tattoos as their own, like the Ouroboros symbol from Fullmetal Alchemist or Scar's arm replica. Characters like Itsuomi from A Sign of Affection and Miyamura from Horimiya showcase anime hand tattoos and rib tattoos. Check out the list below and vote for your favorite anime characters with tattoos. If a character is missing, add them to the list so others can vote too.
