Dorian stabs the painting with the knife that killed its creator and dies on the floor. He becomes a withered old man, but the painting shows him young again.

Adele tries to end her life by taking heroin and burning her house down. Louise uses astral projection to save her. Then, Adele takes over Louise's sleeping body, leaving Louise's spirit body alone. The twist continues: the spirit in Louise is not Adele, but Rob, who swapped bodies with Adele a decade ago before throwing his body with her soul into a well. David and Louise (who is actually Rob) marry and apparently live happily ever after?
