Horror movies turn everyday objects into evil entities. Evil beds, bloodthirsty tires, and killer elevators are just a few examples. Simple objects become harmful in an instant due to malevolent forces, crazy curses, or terrible writing. Here's a small sampling of objects that went from helpful to harmful. Vote up the most ridiculous objects of pure evil.

I hear people say no movie is perfect. I must answer. Have you seen...Death Bed? What impossible dream did this auteur have with a serial killer bed? How cheap was the budget? How much weed did he smoke before writing this? This all runs through my head as I watch a piece of furniture dissolve people alive.

This is the best movie about a killer laundromat I have seen or heard of. I spent too much time at the laundromat.
This is just bad, stupid, and weird, like me. I will skip it after drinks. I felt like a dragging, tedious hellscape that was a laundromat.

Well, I'll be damned! Sion Sono made a J-Horror version ofThe Peanut Butter Solution. Oh, you think I'm kidding? I'm just trying to be clever or witty? I'm making that connection because of the hair thing? No, I'm dead serious...

I want to be reincarnated as a malevolent lamp.
My favorite recent horror revelation is how interesting/fun most of these sequels are. None of them are good, but I expected them all to be dumpster fires. I'd only say that applies to one or two. What a surprise.AmityvilleSequels are. None of them are good, but I expected them all to be dumpster fires. I'd only say that applies to one or two. What a surprise.

"Something's wrong, machines just don't run by themselves..."
This is a cheesy '70s movie made for TV. I liked how the massive bulldozer peeked around corners and pulled off some sneaky surprise attacks!

"Okay, Mr. Band, we made the bong puppet that will be featured prominently in the movie."
"Can it emote or move at all?"
"No, sir."
"Action!"

Come for the killer jeans dismembering exploitative capitalists and stay for the footage of behind-the-scenes pants puppeteers in the end credits...

An elevator in Amsterdam gained sentience and started a killing spree.
Letterboxd review fromCraig J. C.:
"This lift does things it shouldn't."
Some things this lift does that it shouldn't:
- It nearly suffocates a group of boorish a**holes.
- It entices a blind man to fall to his death.
- It beheads a security guard.
- It mangles a little girl's dolly.
- It hangs a cleaning person.
- It breaks up a good marriage.
- It crushes the spirit of anyone watching this movie. One scene in this film has the word "chip" spoken 22 times in five minutes. The chintzy keyboard score, composed and performed by writer/director Dick Maas, is also amazing.
