Famous Druids

The druids were more than just Stonehenge. This list of famous druids, with pictures where available, proves it. We know little about ancient druids since they left no written records. Our knowledge comes from outsiders who observed them. Julius Caesar wrote the oldest and most complete description of druids. They were key members of pagan Celtic society, serving as priests and judges with the same social stature as nobles. Druidic knowledge was passed down verbally, which is why we know so little. During the Celtic revival of the 1700s and 1800s, a neopagan group called New-Druidism formed and still exists today. Who are some famous druids? Since we rely on outsiders' notes, it's tough to say. But with the available information, here's a list of famous druid names.
