Despite its quirks, this innovation led to some of the most interesting and creative characters in video gaming. We've compiled a list of the best Gamecube characters, featuring classics like Mario and Kirby, as well as new faces from games like Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. The Star Fox universe expanded with Star Fox: Assault, and Resident Evil games made their debut on the console. Choose from characters like Link from Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker or Alexandra Rovias, who follows in her deceased grandfather's footsteps.
