From Facebook commenterCheryl J:

I don’t know ifThe Blair Witch ProjectThe Blair Witch Project is a classic, but the moving camera just made me sick. It did not scare me.

From Facebook commenterEd J:

BWBW was one of the worst movies ever made…

From Facebook commenterJamie D:

I've got to go withChildren of the Corn.

From Facebook commenterMike E:

Children of The Corn. Kids are not scary or threatening. Only their parent carries that terrifying responsibility.

From Facebook commenterLauren H:

Don't know if it's classed as a “classic,” but I hateParanormal Activity, simply terrible.

From Facebook commenterLana R:

Some people call it a modern-day classic, but it is garbage.

From Facebook commenterP.J. E:

Child's Play. Chucky makes it hard to suspend my common sense!

From Facebook commenterJamie W:

Even the kid in the movie looked strong enough to handle Chucky.

From Facebook commenterRyan D:

The firstHellraiserwas not that good.

From Facebook commenterKristin C:

Hellraiserand anything to do with Pinhead. That includesCabin in the Woods, but that’s not a classic.

From Facebook commenterBrandon G:

Rosemary’s Baby. I tried watching it many times, but it is boring. It is probably one of the dullest and least frightening “scary” movies I have seen.

I do not get why Ruth Gordon won an Academy Award for her unspectacular role as a nosy neighbor. It is not a bad performance, but it lacks award merit. The other nominations that year must have been truly terrible.

From Facebook commenterMichael S-L:

The entireFriday the 13thcatalog can go into the trash on garbage day.

From Facebook commenterScott M:

I totally agree. I do not like watching people slaughtered. I want a good ghost story or psychological horror film any day.The OthersThe Others may not count as a “classic horror film,” but I prefer it for atmosphere, dialogue, creepiness, and the plot.

From Facebook commenterRalph R:

I always thoughtPet Sematarywas a really dumb movie.

From Facebook commenterJake W:

The remake is a million times better, but no one wants to hear that.

From Facebook commenterMatt F:

I hate to say it,Poltergeistreally did not hold up.

From Facebook commenterPeter A:

Such a boring, long, needlessly drawn-out movie.

From Facebook commenterJan Michael S. A:

The Evil Dead. Those poor effects were actually hilarious! 🤣

From Facebook commenterGeorge D:

I hated that movie. Lol.

From Facebook commenterKate A:

The Omen; it is not awful, but some parts almost sound like a parody. It is better than expected, but still not worth all the hype.

From Facebook commenterKelly W:

I agree, it is an okay movie but definitely overrated.

From Facebook commenterAnthony C:

The ShiningThe Shining is SO OVERRATED!! I loved the book, but the movie was too long.

From Facebook commenterRobert B:

I hate talking about horror movies born into an era not ready for them...The BlobIt just didn't work.

From a Facebook commenter.Bryan M:

I think the originalHalloweenHalloween is overrated.

From a Facebook commenter.Carmen A:

Whew. I thought I was the only one who wrote this!

From a Facebook commenter.Cathy M:

The ExorcistAbsolutely awful. Terrible editing. Extremely overrated. The music was fantastic.
