David J. Bronczek served as President and COO of FedEx Corporation until March 1, 2019; Rajesh Subramaniam replaced him. He started at FedEx in 1976 as a courier. Bronczek held top roles in Canada and Europe. He returned to FedEx headquarters in Memphis in early 1998, becoming executive vice president and chief operating officer. In October 1999, he became president and chief executive of FedEx Express, one of FedEx Corporation's three operating companies, starting January 2000.
