Speculation started the same day Harris announced Walz as her running mate. Steve Martin, a legendary host and comedian, is an obvious choice. As a member of the Five-Timers Club, Martin has been a Saturday Night Live staple. But with the show's history of high-profile stunt casting, other stars like Danny DeVito, Paul Giamatti, and Matt Damon could also play Walz - if they can nail his folksy Midwestern impression. Current SNL players like Mikey Day or James Austin Johnson are also possibilities.
