Plot twists are a joy to watch. They're the moments in a film where everything changes in an instant, often because a character reveals a secret that clarifies earlier events. The more shocking the revelation, the greater the pleasure. While some twists are forgotten, 2022 was a standout year for this narrative device. Facebook users have been vocal about the plot curveballs that left a lasting impression on them. (Spoiler alert!) Comments have been edited for length and clarity.

The action climaxes when he shoots his brother Conrad Van Orton (Sean Penn) and, in a fit of desperation, throws himself off a building.

(The gun was fake, and a large air cushion saves Nicholas when he falls).
