The Flash burst onto the small screen as the Crimson Comet, raising concerns about its limited budget. But the show exceeded expectations. As the best DC property on The CW, outshining Arrow, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash is now the network's flagship program. However, it's starting to stumble. The Flash needs a boost to get back on track, and as the linchpin of the television DC Universe, improvement is crucial for its survival.

Wally told Iris Barry only proposed to change the future; she called off the engagement.Wally! She had to back out because she feared Barry did not marry her for the right reasons. He loves her; he has loved her since he was nine. Is it unreasonable that he wants to marry her to save her from Savitar?andBecause he loves her? No. But wait!
When she saw her mistake, Barry had to call off the engagement because she was right. Cut it out, Ross and Rachel. Barry lip-synced a new proposal at the end of the next episode, questioning why writers introduced relationship uncertainty if it would resolve in three episodes.
724 - 2

Wally, Wally, Wally. Bros before Sisters, man. That's the saying, right? Wally ran to Iris to tell her Barry only proposed to protect her from Savitar skewering her. He shredded his remaining tolerance.
Ratting Barry out and endangering his sister was the last straw. Turn in your jacket, Colonel Mustard.
608 - 3

We never go anywhere anymore!
Team Flash's marriage feels stale. They stay at Star Labs or at Joe’s house or Barry and Iris’s apartment. They never go to Jitters anymore. Their world is small, especially since they could travel anywhere instantly. They do some Earth-hopping sometimes, but most time involves chatting on wheeled chairs at the lab.
589 - 4

Harrison Wells (Eobard Thawne) pushed Barry to get faster from the start. Every episode, Wells said, “You’re not fast enough, Barry,” or “You need to get faster, Barry,” or “If you had gotten here faster my pizza would still be hot, Barry.” Barry’s fights in three seasons all had one answer: more speed. Season 2's climax was essentially a footrace between Barry and Zoom.
Barry slammed a fist on a table and cried, “I’m just not fast enough!” (Iris might feel differently). The constant demand for more speed repeats. The Flash’s version of Oliver’s darkness inArrow. Find another fulcrum, writers.
528 - 5

Jesse and Wally started dating in Season 3, ignoring any real chemistry. Jesse even complained about how annoying Wally was when she got powers and he did not. This suggests romance fails, yet romance exists. In Episode 14, Jesse's father lies to Wally about dying so Wally pushes her to Earth-2 with him. This backfires instantly, leaving Harrison looking bad and Wally looking foolish. This shows the Jesse Quick and Kid Flash relationship is just ridiculous.
Episode 16 ends with Wally telling her he loves her. She returns the feeling before leaving to protect Earth-3 without the Flash. They dated for about a month. Slow down, kids!
526 - 6

We learned and loved Team Flash over two seasons, despite Harrison Wells' many versions. Then, Barry changed the timeline in the Season 2 finale. This shifted all those characters and their bonds. Iris and Joe stopped talking. Cisco and Barry stopped talking because Cisco's brother died in the new timeline. That is tragic. Barry used his charm to fix things and rebuild the family relationships.
Accepting this new timeline means those relationships never happened. Flashpoint removed all character growth before it. Characters cannot just become versions from another reality. This is a major philosophical point.
510 - 7

Are you scared of becoming Killer Frost, Caitlin? You did not mention it in nearly four minutes. Throughout Season 3, Caitlin fought the cold killer (or darkness, right?) inside her.Arrow.She kept something inside her. They gave her a science necklace to stop her powers. Still, she talks about it. We cannot listen to you, Cait. Take off the necklace and let Frosty out. She may be evil, but she is less annoying.
442 - 8

The lip syncing. Season 3's musical episode, "Duet," was fine. But why did it happen? Who was it for? This episode was glittery nonsense. Barry couldn't sing, which did not help. Grant Gustin apparently cannot hit a note in a sound booth because, as suggested, lip syncing would make Mariah Carey cringe. The worst part was the final scene between Barry and Iris.
Barry lip synced. Candace Patton, who plays Iris, had to stare at Grant Gustin's face. He pretended to sing a whole song and cried. Those four minutes were the most awkward for them.
331 - 9

Kara and Barry run into a fire fight in the musical crossover. They do not have their powers. Both sustain fatal wounds. That is buffoonery.
306 - 10

Season 2 features Cisco Ramon. He is goofy and asexual. Cisco attracts Lisa Snart, the Golden Glider. She kisses him then leaves. Cisco now courts Gypsy, a bounty hunter from Earth-19's HR. Gypsy is also out of Cisco's league.
95 - 11

Julian Albert is his name, but he has Malfoy traits. He acts like a jerk to everyone. Alchemy was his initial reason, though he did not know he was Alchemy, but he somewhat did. Now, he has no excuses. Julian remains a brat. Caitlin Snow warming his heart is ironic; another joke relationship. Team Flash mocked Julian's Indian Jones outfit.
-64 - 12

The Flash and many enemies have powers. Showing those powers needs CGI. The CW lacks movie studio budgets. They cannot make CGI that isn't ridiculous. But the CGIis laughable. They must use it less. This pulls viewers out of the action. Some scenes showed Savitar as a man in a suit. That was not much better.

-76 - 13

Cisco points out HR's pointlessness often. Team Flash does not care about HR's presence. Cisco recklessly trained Wally alone. He pushed Wally into the field before he was ready. He failed to mention leaving Earth was a crime, bringing a bounty hunter. Worst, Cisco is a romance author wearing a fedora and carrying drumsticks.
This last part is the worst: he is an interdimensional hipster.
