In 1986, Marvel Comics spun off the X-Men franchise with a team centered around the original members: Angel, Beast, Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Iceman. After they left, the X-Factor roster changed, adding new members. Several characters joined over the years, but few matched the original team's power and skill. A few dozen characters joined in various iterations, yet none compared to the originals. This list highlights the weakest links - ten C-grade characters who joined X-Factor and fell short. They may not be bad on their own, but next to the original X-Men, they're underwhelming. Vote for the worst of the worst among these X-Factor members.
About this list
- 1

Real name: Devlin Greyston
First appeared.: X-Factor #140, 1997
GreystoneGreystone hails from the same alternate timeline as Bishop and other Marvel Universe mutants. He joined the Xavier Underground Enforcers, an offshoot of the Xavier Security Enforcers. This group aimed to travel back in time to fix the future.
Greystone traveled back in time and joined X-Factor. Temporal insanity soon took hold. He built a flying time machine to return to his home time, thinking he fixed the present or the future. The time machine blew up while he used it, and he seemed killed. His powers let him change his density and toughness, but becoming bigger made him more misshapen.

Real name: Victor Creed
First appeared.: Iron Fist #14, 1977
SabretoothSabretooth joined X-Factor's Federal Team in 1996 after the X-Men defeated him. The government gave him a collar that stopped him from attacking unless authorized.
Sabretooth eventually hurt himself enough to rip off the collar. This freedom led him to attack his teammates, nearly killing every one of them. Sabretooth is one of X-Factor's worst members because he is a villain who never truly belonged.

Real name: Unknown
First appeared.: X-Factor #140, 1997
FixxFixx comes from the alternate future timeline of 2080. She belonged to the Xavier Underground Enforcers there. She sent herself and her teammates to the present timeline by putting them into the bodies of unwilling hosts to save their own timeline. Fixx has telepathic and telekinetic skills, though her power level does not match Jean Grey's.
Fixx worked with X-Factor alongside her team until Greystone's time insanity caused him to build a time machine that exploded. After that, she stayed in the past/present as the sole survivor of the X.U.E. When M-Day hit, Fixx likely kept her powers because Beast thought anyone out of their own timeline was unaffected by the Decimation.

She first appeared in 1993, but later, she was sent to an alternate future where she died saving her brother.

Real nameValerie Cooper
First appearanceUncanny X-Men #176, 1983
Valerie "Val" Cooper joined the Federally-backed X-Factor team. She was not a mutant. She lacked superpowers, but she held the training and skills of a government liaison and psychologist.
That lack of powers made her somewhat useless for X-Factor, but she showed strong leadership. Her knowledge of mutants and their psychology helped her lead the team. After superiors forced her to accept Mystique and Sabretooth, she gave team control to Forge; they went underground right after.

SkidsSally Blevins
First appearanceX-Factor #7, 1986

Real name: Guido Carosella
First appearance: New Mutants #29, 1985
Strong GuySuffered an inability to choose a codename. This stuck him with the most descriptive name in Marvel Comics. He first appeared in New Mutants, but eventually joined X-Factor as a member of the Federal team.
Strong Guy is strong, but his power does not come just from physical strength. He absorbs kinetic energy to boost his strength. If he does not use the energy in 90 seconds, his body warps permanently. This causes him constant pain.

Real name: Rahne Sinclair
First appearance: Marvel Graphic Novel #4, 1982
On the surface, WolfsbaneWolfsbane can turn into a wolf or werewolf. This is all she can do. She transforms only parts of her body in a state between human and wolf. These are the limits of her powers. Still, she has heightened and enhanced senses in her wolf/werewolf form.
