This experience paved the way for Lovitz's rise to fame, leading to his unforgettable stint on the iconic television show Saturday Night Live between 1985 and 1990. His character portrayals, including that of Tommy Flanagan, the Pathological Liar, Annoying Man, and Hanukkah Harry, are firmly etched in audience minds even today. He has appeared in over thirty films, including A League of Their Own, The Wedding Singer, and Rat Race.
