""I stood in my driveway.I was smoking a cigarette.I listened to myiPod.Around two AM, I decided to pause myiPod.I turned on the back light. I waved my hand over it a couple times, making a strobe pattern. I heard nothing. I saw nothing coming up, but I felt watched. I looked up. A trapezoid craft with rounded edges hovered above me. It had a dark red and black pulsating glowing outline, like flowing electricity. The craft was not 75 feet up. I could have hit it with a rock. It hovered silently above me for ten to fifteen seconds. It moved side to side, front to back, like the ball Luke trained with in Star Wars. It stayed within twenty feet of its starting spot. This was extremely fascinating, yet I froze. I waved one hand at it friendlY. It changed its light pattern and hovered behind my house. The craft knew I saw it but did not try to leave. This makes me think it wanted me to follow it. I was too scared to think about that then.

Ambient noise stopped. Traffic noise from the nearby streets ceased. Dogs stopped barking. Birds stopped chirping.

I looked at the street bordering the park. That is when I saw it.

It looked like a stealth bomber sideways. The nose pointed forward, one wing went down toward the road, and the other pointed up at the sky. It was shiny black, as tall as a house, shaped like an arrowhead. It cruised the street at three miles per hour. It glided over the road. I watched it for about twenty seconds. As it passed behind some two-story houses and out of sight, my hearing returned fully.

I ran home with my soaked pants. I never told anyone anything.

Around age twelve, I felt something hard and round in my earlobe. I told everyone. They called it a zit under the skin. They said it was normal for my age. But it stayed there for six months.

Annoyed, I did some self-surgery. I felt it near the surface. I poked a hole in my ear with a sterile needle. Blood sprayed everywhere. I felt the object and squeezed toward the hole. A tiny metal ball popped out. It was black metal, perfectly round, with an indentation in the center and tiny golf ball-like marks.

I rolled the object in my blood-covered fingers. It slipped. It spun around the sink a couple of times and fell down the drain. At twelve, I did not know what to do with it. My parents did not believe me. They told me to use tea tree oil on my zits next time. I have never had anything like it since.

"Red orb lights up car and follows it for miles"Edray, WV: One night a few years ago, my friend dropped off his girlfriend, and we decided to take theHe drove the long way home."As we drove along this deserted back road, I zoned out and stared at a blinking red light in the distance. I thought, 'I wonder when they built a cell phone tower out here.' Suddenly, it blinked, getting closer fast. My friend pointed it out and stopped the car. It blinked again, right in front of us, and over us. The red light flooded the car in a deep scarlet. I leaned forward to see the light. That brief moment, I felt intense negative emotions, like being naked under a giant microscope with every pore checked. I looked at my friend and asked him to drive. He barely reacted. Then he snapped out of it and drove. As we went further, I saw the red light did not fade; the car interior stayed lit. I looked out the window and saw the light following us for about two miles. The light suddenly turned left and hit the ground near some trees. My friend stopped the car again and stared. He suddenly said he was getting out to look, acting like he was in a trance. He opened the door, and I grabbed his arm, telling him if he did, I would take the driver's seat and leave him; we had to go right then. He looked at me, then slammed the gas, spinning the tires. The light stayed put as we drove, but I never looked at the night sky the same.

"One night I go down to the kitchen to drink water (around four AM) and I hear this weird kind ofHe heard a low pitched buzzing.Sound came from outside. I went to the backyard. A bright, round object hovered about 600 feet above me. I froze. I felt almost paralyzed. It went higher, then took off fast, vanishing into the wintry clouds. That night, I dreamed of an abduction. Now, I question if the dream was real or made to look like one.

"Air traffic controller is only one able to see spacecraft trying to land"I was anAir traffic controller(tower) in the Air Force. I think it was 1972. I was the crew chief on duty on a midnight shift with one other controller. Daybreak approached, nearly time for shift change. I looked up and saw a metallic object crossing the field (Randolph AFB, ) moving fast. It was moving over.TX.

They live in Ukraine buttook a trip to Turkeysometime in the '90s. They rented a remote cottage in the countryside. One evening, the dogs outside went wild, barking viciously and acting strange. My grandma's brother went out to check. He saw a UFO near their cottage, high up but dropping closer. He called the family. They still confirm what they saw (for those alive). They saw a triangle shape with three lights, one in each corner. When it neared the house, they panicked and ran inside. Walls shook. Dishes broke from the vibration. The dogs barked louder.

It hovered over the cottage for several minutes, then ascended and vanished. These people are conservative and rational. They dislike supernatural talk. I believe they told the truth.

"As a kid, I lived right on the edge of thisstate forestFriends and I adventured often. As middle schoolers, we began camping and hiking to relax. One night, I walked alone on a trail, eyes closed. I left home around eight PM. After twenty minutes, I reached a clearing. I looked at the stars, seeing what I thought was an airplane. It was not moving, but it pulsed. I felt the pulses in my chest sync with my heartbeat. I dismissed it after fifteen minutes as a strange coincidence and walked home. Upon arrival, all the lights were off, which seemed odd. I checked my phone; it was two in the morning.

One night, we walked into a field of knee-high grass and watched the sky. We saw many shooting stars. My friend suddenly pointed to a bright light. He asked what it was. My friend, the astronomy enthusiast, did not know. It looked like a planet, but no planets should have been visible that night. It did not move; it bobbed, moving up and down. Then, it fizzled out, like a candle. It looked like it burned up. This was odd, but it was not the strangest part.

We dismissed it and joked about seeing a UFO when we found a man in the middle of a field. I do not know how he got there; we could see far in all directions and would have seen him walking. He looked young, about our age. He wore no shoes or shirt, only jeans. He sat curled up, arms around his knees, shivering. It was late November; no one goes out without a shirt or jacket. We were scared to approach him, so we asked him if he was okay from a distance. He stared blankly and said he was fine. His voice sounded cold, though he did not sound drunk. We approached him and asked how he got there. He refused to talk, saying he needed the hospital. My friend called 9-1-1, and police arrived with an ambulance at a gas station we walked to. I let him borrow my coat while we waited. He only asked for our names and what we were doing, and asked my friend about constellations.

Police asked us questions, and paramedics took the man away. I let him keep my jacket.

My friend told his family the story the next morning. I had forgotten the light. He made the connection. His family thought it was spooky but believed we had encountered a junkie.

Upstairs, I read a book. Then the dog, tied outside, went wild. I thought another dog fought, so I ran downstairs and threw boots to break it up.

Opening the door, goosebumps hit me. Every dog miles away barked, yelped, and howled. I barely thought about what happened when I saw an object float above the tree line, maybe half a mile to a mile away.

It looked like a disco ball. It was round, about the size of a pencil eraser from that distance. It floated left and right, and slightly up and down. This movement lasted about ten seconds, then it vanished. A second later, it reappeared in a new spot.

It repeated this action about six times. Each time it vanished, I scanned the tree line for its next appearance. It made no sound. I ducked into the door and saw my girlfriend's mother asleep on the couch. I did not want to wake her for fear of missing it.

The last time it vanished in that spot, it blinked a teardrop light straight down and behind the tree line very fast.

I stood there, wondering if I saw it or hallucinated. Almost as if to confirm my sight, I heard voices. I looked to the road; a couple had stopped their car, standing by the side watching the exact thing I saw. I heard no words, but surprise was clear in their voices. I considered going to the road, but it was far, and I wore pajamas. They drove away before I could talk to them.

This happened at Camp Yawgoog in Rhode Island in October 2012. I still recall those lights. They lit the whole forest, yet remained soft enough that I just stared, like an insect at a lantern. I still refuse to sleep outside tents.

Getting near the camp site, I saw what looked like a tent with a lantern inside, glowing bright yellow/orange, lower down. As we drove, it did not get closer until it moved randomly and grew bigger. Then we knew it was not a tent. I told him to stop, and he did, shutting off the lights. The light grew larger, twisted, and moved from left to right. After two to five minutes, it shrank slightly, shot straight to 12 o'clock, and vanished. It left extremely fast. When it left, it lit up the forest. Then I understood we were looking over the edge.

We both agreed we did not know what it was; probably an alien. We were still shaken. We reached our destination and set up camp. It was a great weekend.

The next day, our small town paper ran a front-page story about several calls. They said the local airport was testing aircraft. I doubt that story because of what I saw. Even now, when I see my friends from that night, we sometimes talk about it. None of us know what we saw, but we have never seen anything like it.

"Friends lose chunk of their road trip, wake up on the side of the road"I was driving back home.I was driving back home.I was driving to Los Angeles with a friend after visiting family near Phoenix, AZ. We drove west on highway 58 just outside Boron, CA, heading to Mojave to catch the 14. It was night, and we played music loudly. Then I woke up, looked around, and saw I was pulled over on the side of the road. About three hours passed. My buddy slept, so I woke him up, and we both had a mental breakdown. After calming down, we went home and never talked about it again. I have no idea how we went from loud music and driving to waking up safe by the side of the road.

I was driving home from Indiana University for the weekend. It takes two hours to get home; I left Bloomington around 10:00 PM. At exactly 10:53, I saw flashing lights behind me on a rural two-lane highway. I thought, 'Great, I'm getting pulled over,' so I turned onto the next country road a quarter mile away. As the car stopped and I opened my glove box for registration and insurance, the lights vanished. No car drove past.

The electronics in my car went haywire. The radio changed stations randomly; the volume swung up and down. The dome light and headlights flickered on and off at 10:56 pm. I thought my battery failed or a short existed in the car's electric system. I leaned down to check the battery under the hood. That was the last thing I recalled. Then, I opened my eyes. I saw only the night sky, filled with bright stars. It was cold. I had never seen stars that bright before. I sat up and looked around. I saw nothing. Absolutely nothing. I was in a field, surrounded by corn stalks left from the harvest. Panic started to take hold. Where was I? Why was I asleep in a field? Where was my car? I stood up and walked toward distant headlights visible on a road half a mile away.

I reached the intersection. The signs read 350N and 50W. My car sat half a mile from the main road. I walked toward the headlights on the main road. Walking that half mile took ten to fifteen minutes. When I reached my car, all the lights were off. The battery died. This seemed odd; I could not have been gone that long. My phone, on the passenger seat, showed 2:17 AM. Three hours passed after I turned onto the side road for the flashing lights behind me. I sat in my car, stunned, wondering what occurred. After half an hour, I recalled the dead battery. I called AAA for a jump start. They took about an hour to reach me because I was far from town. During that time, I sat silent, guessing what happened. I still cannot explain how I woke up half a mile from my car in a cornfield more than three hours after stopping. I told only my uncle this story. People would think I was crazy or call my story false. I cannot blame them; a story like that, mirroring the stereotype, I probably wouldn't believe either.
