His Strongest Moment:He cuts through an Infinity Gauntlet blast, burying his ax in Thanos's chest.

His Weakest Moment:He lets his ego interfere and fails to aim for the head the first time.

Who He Is: Before becoming the Sorcerer SupremeDr. Stephen Strange is one of the world's most gifted surgeons. A devastating accident and travel grant him mastery of the mystic arts.

What He Does:Doctor Strange seems limitless. Without the Time Stone, Strange performs many mystical feats, like conjuring energy, flying, and teleporting across the world.

His Strongest Moment:Though his fight with Thanos impresses, Doctor Strange's defining moment occurs when he uses his intellect and a time loop to annoy Dormammu into submission.

His Weakest Moment:Strange acts cocky, like many Earth heroes. That arrogance lets Ebony Maw gain the upper hand during their spar.

Who He Is:We do not know much about Thanos's MCU past or its connection to the comics, but he has an unbreakable will. After planning to save his sick planet and people, Thanos spent years gathering the Infinity Stones and destroying civilizations to reach his aim.

What He Does:Thanos's greatest power appears to be his strategy and sheer determination. Besides that, he has super-strength that rivals almost everyone in the MCU.

His Strongest Moment: Using the Infinity GauntletThanos loses twice and lives—briefly—to tell the story.

His Weakest Moment:We see Thanos lose twice. Both times, the Mad Titan realizes his ego controls him. Seeing him humbled after taking the Infinity Stones and waiting for the Avengers' fate is his lowest point.

Who He Is:Hela, Odin's first child, fought and ruled with her father. But when her abilities and desire for power grew too large, the All-Father exiled her and buried her memory.

What He Does:Besides the physical skills of all Asgardians, Hela can create endless blades instantly. She fights well, has a giant wolf as a sidekick, and her opening scene shows she has much raw power.

Her Strongest Moment:Hela taking on the Warriors Three and the whole Asgardian army alone and killing every one of them is top-tier. Hela crushing Mjolnir with one hand beats even her other impressive feat.

Her Weakest Moment:Hela's weakest moment came when her father banished her because her powers matched his.

Who She Is:Carol Danvers became Earth-born, gaining Kree DNA and cosmic powers while stopping an alien incursion. After losing her memory and being raised by the enemy, the Air Force pilot found her true mission and full powers as Captain Marvel.

What She Does:We have not seen Captain Marvel's full power. She has flight, super-strength, and energy manipulation. This latter ability seems limitless, letting Danvers absorb and redirect huge amounts of power.

Her Strongest Moment:Captain Marvel single-handedly destroyed Thanos's ship and most of his army when the Mad Titan arrived on Earth.

Her Weakest Moment:Captain Marvel has not been defeated much due to limited screen time. Before Danvers remembered her past and learned to use all her powers, she spent six years being beaten and manipulated by Yon-Rogg.

Who He Is:Scientist Bruce Banner develops a second personality and powers after gamma rays hit him during a bad experiment.

What He Does:Banner transforms into the Incredible Hulk when he gets angry; he is always angry. He gains immense physical strength (and seeming immortality) after transforming. He lost much of his mental skill, but now he unites the brain and brawn.

His Strongest Moment:Picking just one is hard, but surviving the use of an Infinity Gauntlet is a top contender.

His Weakest Moment:Scarlet Witch hexed his mind, terrorizing a city, before Tony Stark soundly beat him.

Who He Is:The former King of Asgard, the All-Father, is wise, powerful, and cunning. With Loki's mind and Thor's strength, this ruler is one of the strongest beings in the known realms.

What He Does:We do not know everything Odin can do. The Odinforce, cosmic energy he controls, seems to give him nearly unlimited power. He removes Thor's abilities, for example, and at his height, he commands all of Asgard.

His Strongest Moment:Thor humbled the God of Thunder and helped him on his path to real heroism.

His Weakest Moment:He buried his past as a tyrant and sent his own daughter to a prison dimension. We know how that ended.

Who She Is: The Ancient OneThe MCU's history remains a mystery, but we know she is ancient and of Celtic origin. She also holds tremendous mystical power.

What She Does:At her peak, the Ancient One is the Sorcerer Supreme, controls the Time Stone, and draws energy from Dormammu without suffering harm.

Her Strongest Moment:She faces Kaecillius and his Zealots in one of the MCU's most confusing fight scenes.

Her Weakest Moment:She manipulates the powers of the Dark Dimension to extend her life and lies about it to her disciples.

Who He Is:Vision merges Tony Stark's brainpower, Bruce Banner's intellect, Jarvis's AI, and Ultron's capabilities. Add the Mind Stone, and you get one complex character.

What He Does:Vision possesses intelligence, super-strength, and near invulnerability. He flies, shoots a laser from his forehead, and alters his mass to pass through objects or become dense.

His Strongest Moment:Lifting Mjolnir casually tops the list.

His Weakest Moment:Vision gets so distracted he nearly kills Rhodey.

Who He Is:Loki is Thor's step-brother, but the siblings differ greatly. Thor lives as a hero; Loki remains a villain.

What He Does:Loki lacks Asgardian strength, yet he surpasses a human. Skills from his mother grant him power. Loki's illusions create a strategic threat, especially with his gift for twisting words and winning allies. He also summons and moves things with his mind.

His Strongest Moment:Loki's greatest achievement is banishing his father and convincing Asgard that he is Odin, not winning a fight.

Who He Is:Shrapnel hits Tony Stark's heart. He barely survives. The accident gives him the clarity to build his first armored suit and become a hero.

What He Does:Beyond his intellect, Iron Man commands Earth's top technology. Unbeatable suits and dangerous surveillance systems give Tony Stark a path to victory.

His Strongest Moment:Tony Stark sacrifices himself to save the entire universe.

His Weakest Moment:Tony Stark gives the Mandarin his address, suffering the fallout from his arrogance.

Who He Is:Peter Parker was a genius before the radioactive spider bite. While Tony Stark provided much of Spider-Man's tech, Peter invented his web fluid alone. His natural and super-powered skills make him more than a local hero.

What He Does:Spider-Man has great strength and stamina, plus impressive agility. His "spider sense" lets him sense danger. The web fluid lets him zip through cities and stop bad guys.

His Strongest Moment:Spider-Man's determination makes him a hero, not just his power. When a building collapses on him, he finds the strength to save himself.

His Weakest Moment:Spider-Man ruins an FBI sting and nearly sinks a ferry full of people because of his ego.

Who He Is: Steve Rogers had "the right stuff," like many MCU heroes, even before his super-powered upgrade. Then, he received the injection.Super Soldier SerumThe injection and Vita-Rays made Steve Rogers something greater.

What He Does:Captain America has super-strength, stamina, and durability. He trains in all combat styles. Many consider him one of the greatest tacticians alive. He also excels with his vibranium shield.

His Weakest Moment: Cap rarely loses fights. Realizing he lied to Tony and doesn't deserve the shield is a low point for the Star-Spangled Man with a Plan.

Who He Is: Prince T'Challa is the Black Panther from the start. He protects Wakanda as a fierce warrior in an impressive suit. As king, he commands the world's most advanced nation.

What He Does: Black Panther fights well. The Heart-Shaped Herb gives him heightened abilities. His vibranium suit is nearly unbreakable. The newest version absorbs and redirects kinetic energy, stopping most harm.

His Strongest Moment: He returns from drowning to take down his rival and save his kingdom.

His Weakest Moment: Killmonger takes the Black Panther throne and mantle from him in front of his family and Wakanda's leaders.

Who He Is: Ultron's start is unclear. He results from the Mind Stone, Hydra's work, and Tony Stark and Bruce Banner's plans for a top security system.

What He Does: At his peak, Ultron has a vibranium body, a legion of robots, internet access, super-strength, and energy blasts. James Spader's smooth voice adds to it.

His Strongest Moment: Each Ultron bot acts like Ultron. This lets him fight eight Avengers alone.

His Weakest Moment: After losing to former allies and worst enemies, the last broken Ultron bot faces his own child in the woods. He does not survive.

Who He Is: Groot is an alien that looks like a talking tree. He is not good at talking. However, his time with the Guardians of the Galaxy turns him from a scoundrel to a hero. Two Groots exist; the one from the end of the series is an offshoot of the original.Guardians of the Galaxy The final Groot is an offshoot of the original.

What He Does: Groot is super-strong. He regrows body parts. He seems nearly invulnerable. Groot extends his tendrils to cause various damage.

His Strongest Moment: For Groot 1, he turns into a sphere to shield his friends from Ronan's ship. For Groot 2, he has time to prove he is as strong as his ancestor. Sacrificing his arm to make the handle for Thor's ax and reviving the hero is amazing.

His Weakest Moment: Everything the rogue Ravagers do to Baby Groot is the lowest moment for all versions of the character.

Who She Is:G'iah, Talos's daughter, is a Skrull refugee who hid her true self on Earth. G'iah grew tired of waiting for Nick Fury to deliver a new home planet for the Skrulls and became radicalized by Gravik.

What She Does:Gravik turned G'iah into a Super-Skrull by accident, thanks to Nick Fury collecting DNA from nearly every superpowered being across the MCU. G'iah now has nearly every power imaginable, including Captain Marvel's, Groot's, and Hulk's powers.

Her Strongest Moment:G'iah killed Gravik, who possessed every superpower on Earth.

Her Weakest Moment:G'iah does not have a power yet.

Who He Is:Ebony Maw, one of Thanos's "children," holds a special position near his father or captor. He has telekinetic abilities, allowing him to move almost anything with a hand flick.

What He Does:Ebony Maw acts calculated and ruthless. He shows high intelligence and technological skill, enabling him to manage Thanos's operations.

His Strongest Moment:Ebony Maw quickly defeated Earth's Mightiest Heroes after landing on Earth and stole the planet's wizard.

His Weakest Moment:What is more humiliating than being sucked into space by a bratty kid who thinks...Aliens is an old movie?

Who He Is:Alexei Shostakov served as the Soviet Union's Captain America during the Cold War. This was discovered in...This is Captain America: Civil War. and This is Falcon and the Winter Soldier.Many people seek more super soldiers since Steve Rogers succeeded initially. Alexei is one of those successful soldiers. He would have been one if he had not rotted in jail for years after General Dreykov betrayed him.

What He Does:Think of Alexei as the Russian Steve Rogers if the Star-Spangled Man With A Plan let himself go. He has Captain America's strength and a beer belly. He also has a mess of tattoos.out of shapeHe barely fits into his supersuit, yet he still throws a punch with the best.

His Weakest Moment:He lets Dreykov keep his adopted daughters without a fight.

Who He Is:Emil Blonsky was strong before becoming the Abomination. He was an elite warrior and tactician. Some knock-off Super Soldier Serum gave him a super upgrade. He then became basically Evil Hulk.

What He Does:Like early Hulk, the Abomination loses some natural gifts when he gets big. He makes up for this with super-strength to match the Jade Giant.

His Strongest Moment:He faces off against the Hulk and nearly wins.

His Weakest Moment:He disappears from the MCU forever.

Who He Is:Pietro Maximoff is a Sokovian. He loses nearly everything. He agrees to Hydra experimentation to get revenge on Tony Stark and the Avengers. Eventually, Pietro becomes a hero when it matters most.

What He Does:Quicksilver has super-speed. He could be unbeatable if he never stops moving.

His Strongest Moment:He stops just long enough to save Hawkeye and a Sokovian child.

His Weakest Moment:He thinks he can control Mjolnir, but he learns the opposite is true.
