What comes to mind when you hear 'anesthesia'? Hospitals and surgeries, probably. These stories give anesthesia a lighter side. Which one made you laugh the most?

I was 15 when I had my wisdom teeth removed. When I awoke I was alone in the room- a big no-no. At this point in my life, I had gotten drunk a few times and in my disoriented state, I thought I was hammered. I staggered out to the waiting room and saw my mom and said "Oh sh*t", thinking I was busted. Mom (a former nurse) jumped up and sat me down, then raised hell with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.

My aunt had gone under anesthesia for some dental surgery. When she woke up they told her that she could lay there a while longer until she felt she could stand and walk fine. She said she didn't need any time and got up, walked towards the door, and walked straight into the wall next to the door. She fell to the ground and could not stop laughing.

When I came out of anesthesia from a foot surgery, I apparently tried to convince my doctor that my brother was a panda.

I don't recall saying this, but apparently, I kept repeating that I was hungry and when the nurse gave me a ham and cheese sandwich which I refused, saying "I want a croissant, only a croissant will do".

I woke up in the recovery room following brain surgery. I don't remember this, but when I woke up, I reassured everyone that Breaking Bad would return on July 15th.

Just so you know, this is all second-hand from my mum.
I came back from some pretty heavy anesthesia after I had an internal fixator installed on my left fibula after a major accident. For about the first twenty minutes after opening my eyes, I kept repeating the Sesame Street theme song. When I finally realized my mother was in front of me, I asked her if she remembered Forgetful Jones.

Shortly after Revenge of the Sith came out, I got my wisdom teeth pulled. When I was "coming to" I asked my dad if Padme was alright. He said back, "I'm afraid in your rage you killed her." I was still a bit doped up and let out the laziest "noooooo" I could muster.

Not even ten seconds after waking from a last-minute emergency Appendicitis I sneezed loudly and quite hard. The nurse told my parents it looked as if my eyeballs were about to eject from my skull from the jarring pain.

Had septoplasty (nose surgery) to relieve some chronic sinus infections about 5 years ago. I'm 6'6" and about 350. When I came out from anesthesia, my family was there, everything had gone fine... but I was cuffed to the bed, wrists and ankles, like they do for crazy people. I looked at the nurse and kind of rattled them in confusion.
She (about 5'4" and a buck forty) smiled and said "Seriously, look at you. Men can be combative when they come out from under anesthesia. You'd have flattened me."
Touché, nurse lady. Touché.

I got my wisdom teeth out. My dad tried to take me out, so I said, "I will fight you old man!"
Pink Floyd played as we got in the car. I screamed, "IIIIIIIII have become comfortably numb."

General anesthesia put me under. After surgery, a nurse with big breasts shook me awake. I told her I would grab her breasts while saying, "you aren't real," since I thought none of it was real.
She was real.

I told my mom, "this is what being drunk feels like." I kept repeating it, trying to convince her. I was 18. She was p*ssed. Oops.

I woke up after getting my appendix out. I was ten years old.
The nurse asked if I hurt. I said yes; my stomach hurt. She pumped me full of morphine right away. Happy times!
As they moved me to the ward, I shouted asking why I spoke so low (it sounded quiet to me). I asked if I could watch The Simpsons and play Snap, even though I passed in and out of consciousness.

A guy broke my jaw when I was 12 and had to have it wired shut. The first time I woke up, I only remember the heel of my bare foot touching the chin of a baby-faced guy in pale blue scrubs.
The next time I woke, I was alone in a room. Thick cables tied me down with restraints. They never told me what happened.

I came out of anesthesia after my wisdom teeth surgery. I tried to tell my mother I loved her but spat blood in her face instead.
