From Redditor u/.Quills86.Missed Connection appears in the list 'People Share Reasons They 'Noped' Out Of Relationships'.

We had only one date. I did not tell him my exact address. He must have followed me after the date. The next day, he showed up and stuttered how he felt about 'the connection' and that I sent 'the ultimate signs.'.

He became violent when angry, acting crazy angry. He sped up on a dark county road and turned off the headlights when he did this to me.

We survived. As soon as we reached town, I got out of the car and ended the relationship.

From Redditor u/.Cannotakema.Turned A Date Into A Public Event appears in the list 'People Share Reasons They 'Noped' Out Of Relationships'.

Lady stayed the night for the first time. The next morning, she started taking pictures of my house and posting them on social media. She put my bedroom, living room, and master bath on display. I asked, 'What are you doing?'

She said, 'I want everyone to see your place.'

I said, 'Uhh, let me take you home.'

I told her I did not like her actions. Then she complained on social media that I was petty for not liking her posting my house. She called me to go out again. I was shocked she thought I would post my house, speak badly of me, and return. That was one night. NOPE.

From Redditor u/.Kuukauris.'Just A Joke' appears in the list 'People Share Reasons They 'Noped' Out Of Relationships'.

We were not in a relationship, but I had a developing thing with a guy. Then, one day, while I was away, he and some of our friends went to a bar. He secretly slipped stronger alcohol into another girl's drink there.

This girl talked much with one of our friends and paid little attention to him. He got jealous, threw this friend on the floor, and started strangling him. He left the bar after that and later tried to pretend it was 'just a joke' or 'just messing around.'

How do you jokingly try to strangle someone?

I dropped this guy from my life right after I found out.

From Redditor u/.Frowawayaccountm8.Wrong Answer appears in the list 'People Share Reasons They 'Noped' Out Of Relationships'.

My most recent ex always asked me random questions. For example, 'What would you do if someone came running towards us right now?'

I would answer something like, 'Move out of their way so they can keep running.' She would say 'Wrong answer' and get angry because she meant to attack us, but I did not say I would jump in her way to defend her.

She asked many vague questions. When I answered, she would say 'Wrong answer' and get mad because I did not answer the way she wanted. I left as quickly as I could.

    From Redditor u/odd_neighbour:

    Second date.

We knew each other since childhood. We flirted a lot as casual friends, not close friends, just acquaintances. Then, we decided to try dating in our twenties.

Him: Do you want to get married someday?

Me: Maybe. I don't know. I'm not even sure if marriage fits me. I mostly want to travel and build a career. That's all I think about now.

Him asked, "What about in 5 years time?"

Me: I don't know. Maybe. If he's the right guy, maybe.

Him: I've loved you since we were kids.

    I replied, "Ummm, thanks."

He asked, "If we’re together 5 years from now, would you marry me?"

Me: I'm not sure (Spoiler: I want to run away right now).

He said, "I’d hit a girl if she didn’t marry me after 5 years. Like straight up beat her."

Ummm, yeah, goodbye to the friendship too.

"Not like you're not pretty, but you would be so much more attractive if you looked like [insert my baby sister's name]."

I responded, "You mean 15 years younger (and a minor), 6', blonde, and a size 2?"

He said it in front of his friends. Silence fell. His best friend punched his arm and called him a d*ck. I got up and left. His sister called later to apologize for him being an a**hole and said his whole family was upset with him.

The worst part? He truly did not think he did anything wrong.

We planned dinner. She did not show up or answer her phone all evening. Then, she appeared around midnight, in her car, drunk...

I tried to get her keys; she ran out of the house. I followed. She drove her car at me. I called her brother to get her picked up.

The next morning, I left her car and her things at her place.

    From Redditor u/SharMarali:

I had a long, toxic relationship with an ex. I wanted to leave for years, but he threatened suicide, so I stayed.

I finally found the nerve to leave after I was diagnosed with several benign liver tumors. The doctor told me stopping hormonal birth control right away and permanently was vital for this tumor type. I researched it and found stopping hormonal birth control permanently was the best thing to avoid further trouble.

I told my (then) husband about the appointment. He said calmly, "Well, that's going to be a problem."

I asked, "What do you mean? I'll see the gynecologist as soon as I can get an appointment, and we can use condoms until then."

I refused. Condoms were unacceptable because we were married. Not having sex until I saw the gynecologist was also unacceptable.

What chilled me was his suggestion. He told me to keep taking birth control as normal and just not tell the doctor. "He'll never know," he said. Then he suggested I could start and stop birth control to avoid follow-up appointments so he would never find out.

I was stunned. I looked at him and stated, "You understand this could kill me? This isn't about pleasing a doctor; this is about my life."

He just shrugged. He said he was not using condoms and that I needed to "figure it out."

    I figured it out.

I left him over ten years ago. I have never been happier since.

    From Redditor u/brownlawn:

My brother took a girl to a high-end sushi place. His date ordered three times the food he did (he only got grilled salmon). She ate almost none of it, then said she ordered all the extras to "take some home for tomorrow."

When the waiter brought the bill, I left to use the bathroom. The waiter asked my brother if he wanted to split the check. My brother did the right thing and stuck her with $100 worth of sushi and drinks.

The girl returned to see a huge bill at her table.

    From Redditor u/GAU8:

I genuinely feared for my safety. I argued with her, so I slept on the floor. I went to the bathroom to text a friend to come get me since I thought she had fallen asleep. I got a text back, "Where are you?" and my phone made a sound. I froze, opened the bathroom door, and she was already there, waiting for me in the dark.

She said nothing. She just stared at me until I walked past.

I went back to my spot on the floor. I got under the blanket and pretended to sleep until she did. After thirty minutes, I peeked out from under the covers. She was towering over me in total darkness, eyes wide open the whole time.

I got out of there fast.

My brother came to visit. After I spent the whole day with my girlfriend, it was time to see my brother because we hadn't seen each other in a long time. We made snacks and were about to start LOTR since we both love it. She called me and started a long phone conversation. I told my brother to wait for me, and she said I could not spend time with anyone because it belongs to her. That was the last talk between us.

    From Redditor u/TotallyWorrie:

After our first date, she sent me a Google Maps pin of my address with only "Haha" as context. I had not told her my address. She followed up by asking about my boss using his first name.

I did not mention anyone from my work.

That stalker level made me pull the eject handle quickly.
