Bellatrix Was The Oldest Of The Black Sisters

    From Redditoru/flooperdooper4:

My inner Ravenclaw points out the Black sisters' birth order: Bellatrix was the eldest. Andromeda was the middle sibling. Narcissa was the youngest. We know Bellatrix was older because the question started withHalf-Blood PrincePeople ask if Grimmauld Place passed to Sirius's oldest living Black relative, Bellatrix Lestrange.

She Attended Hogwarts With Molly And Arthur

    From Redditoru/InquisitorCOC:

Bellatrix should have been born in 1951. She would have graduated before the Marauders started school. However, her Hogwarts time overlapped with Arthur and Molly.

Bellatrix's behavior mixed Hermione and Ginny. She got excellent grades, acted like an arrogant know-it-all, championed an ideology, acted aggressively, and was popular.

Bellatrix Killed Tonks During The Battle For Hogwarts

    From a formerRedditor:

Rowling confirmed this, though it wasn't in the books: Bellatrix Lestrange killed Tonks during the Battle for Hogwarts, and Antonin Dolohov killed Remus.

    Bellatrix Embraced Her Abuse

    From Redditoru/Evil_Black_Swan:

Parents, especially her father, abused the Black sisters. Because of this, three different outcomes appeared.

Bellatrix embraced the abuse. She took pleasure in the suffering of those she saw as beneath her. She hated her younger sister and wanted to kill her. Cruelty and abuse made the world work. She made the respectable pureblood marriage she was supposed to, even though it lacked love. She gave everything to her master, just as her father taught her. Her time in Azkaban did not help, but she was already mad.

    Azkaban Only Magnified Bellatrix's Personality

    From Redditoru/anotherpoetess:

Whoever Bellatrix was before Azkaban got magnified; she had time to think there. Sirius described his time in Azkaban: only thinking while you slowly die. Sirius survived by turning into a dog. Bellatrix stayed alive because she believed Voldemort would return. She focused only on avenging Voldemort, finding him, and helping him regain power. After escaping, that was all she could do. Like Sirius learning to be human again and shaking off dog tendencies, Bellatrix took on the obsessive thought of getting back at Harry for what he did to Voldemort.

Regarding the torture, Bellatrix had a purpose for what she did before (in her mind). Even afterward, Bellatrix tortured Hermione to Griphook because she thought they had something with a Horcrux Voldemort gave her. She feared him discovering it and losing his trust in her. In her mind, the torture was not something she enjoyed, but something necessary to protect her 'master.'

Bellatrix Shows Telltale Signs Of A Spoiled Child

    From Redditoru/lambda_orionis:

The Black sisters acted spoiled. Bellatrix showed signs of being spoiled most. She had a childlike, impatient, and rude quality. Spoiled people get what they want. They act spiteful and possessive like Bellatrix. They believe the world revolves around them and those they like. Childhood teaching made them think this way, making them ignore others. Bellatrix and Narcissa are the same. They blame others instead of taking responsibility. They rarely face punishment as children. Bellatrix did this to Lucius at Spinner's End. They act arrogant and disdainful. They were raised to believe they were superior due to their blood status. They lack empathy, which affects both.Narcissa and BellatrixSpoiled children are self-serving. They always want things their way. Bellatrix and Narcissa show this at Malfoy Manor and Madam Malkin's.

Bellatrix sits on chairs like thrones during her trial. She feels she owns the world.

Bellatrix And Ginny Share A Number Of Parallels

    From Redditoru/CartesianClosedCat:

InDeathly Hallows, when Harry goes to Voldemort in the forest, Bellatrix reminds Harry of Ginny. This fits the scar's influence. Another parallel with Bellatrix: in Chamber of Secrets, Ginny poured her soul to teenager Tom Riddle.

I see another parallel with Ginny appearing before Harry dies and before the final duel between Voldemort and Harry. Bellatrix is in both moments. I do not know if fans know this parallel. This construction seems planned, and its meaning is hard to explain.
