InKill Bill Vol.2(2004), Pai Mei indirectly gets revenge on Elle after she kills him. He claims the Bride's right arm as his own after their first fight. The Bride uses that arm to pluck out Elle's eye later in the film.

InKill Bill Vol. 2 (2004) Bill uses a truth serum called "The Undisputed Truth." This points to a '70s soul group with that name. Bill and Beatrix interact when he leaves her with Pai Mei, and she asks, "When will I see you again," to which Bill replies, "That's my favorite soul song of the seventies," showing he likes the era and the genre. Tarantino's detail focus makes this theory likely correct.
