Cory and Eric started with a big age gap. In Seasons 1 and 2, the two werefour years apart.This changed in the final seasons; they were two years apart.

Cory, Shawn, and Topanga planned to graduate in 2000 at the show's start. In the episode "Class Pre-Union," the class got a "Welcome Back, Class of 2000" banner.

That timeline became messy. Characters supposedly entered the 7th grade in the fall of 1994, but the 11th grade in 1996.

Unless he skipped time, Joshua aged very fast.

ThroughoutBoy Meets World, Alan talks about his Navy days in many conversations. In the episode "Family Trees," his past role switched from Navy man to Coast Guard cook.

Topanga had an older sister,Nebula Lawrence,, though she was not much on screen. She made her only appearance in the episode "She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not."

At one point inBoy Meets World, Eric had a best friend,Jason Marsden. The two prepared for the SATs, but Jason left after studying and was never seen again.

Morgan Matthews, Cory Matthew's younger sister, vanished and returned as an older girl.

For two seasons, the actressLily Nicksay played the lively little sibling. Actress Lindsay Ridgeway took over after that, andthe changewas only joked about.

Cory mixed up the age he and Topanga first kissed in the episode "A Long Walk to Pittsburgh: Part 2," Cory claimed they kissed at 13, but he was actually 11.

To fix this, he said he thought girls were gross. These "lost years" ended with Topanga kissing him.

Jack and Eric did not have a great school record. They finished college fast. They began college in Season 5. They graduated in Season 7. This means they finished all their higher education in just three years.

By the series' end, those other jobs ended.
