Criminals claiming to be "demon-possessed" have been committing heinous crimes for as long as people have been murdering spouses, assaulting young people, or gunning down strangers. Some use this as an excuse, while others, often struggling with mental illness or addiction, genuinely believe they were under demonic control. A famous case is serial killer David Berkowitz (the Son of Sam), who claimed a demon in his neighbor's dog compelled him to shoot people in parked cars in New York for a year. If you're curious about demonic possession or want to know more about vile acts committed by the "possessed," read on about the most horrific crimes attributed to demons.
