Machine Elves On DMT

Terence McKenna found remembering his DMT hallucinations hard. He compared it to recalling dream details.

Dr. Rick Strassman, author of "DMT: The Spirit Molecule," theorized human brains make DMT naturally.DMT is the spirit molecule.McKenna hypothesized the human body secretes large amounts of DMT when dreaming or near death. This happens during dreaming and nearing death.Strassman wrote the brain actively moves DMT across the blood-brain barrier into tissues.

After the 11-day study, the brothers walked away with a changed view of reality. They spoke much about "a universe of active intelligence that is transhuman, hyperdimensional, and extremely alien." They called these beings "self-transforming machine elves" and claimed many interactions with them.

Some DMT users claim the drug takes them to another dimension. Terence McKenna noted reality has layers; DMT lets users see some of them.

In a lecture called "Psychedelics Before and After History",McKenna described machine elves appearing and welcoming him to a dimension they created. McKenna explained the elves spoke in a colored language that formed rotating machines like Fabergé eggs.Machine Elves on DMT.These machines were crafted from luminescent superconducting ceramics and liquid crystal gels.

Smoking DMT extract lasts five to 20 minutes, depending on potency. Many users report it feels much longer. Many users say the trip feels much longer. Some users felt it lasted for hours before finishing.

Users state that after ingesting DMT smoke, everything else peels away. The world melts into fractals. Users often feel their stomachs drop like a roller coaster. When boiled and prepared together, the plants create a highly hallucinogenic mix with DMT. Smoking DMT lasts about 15 minutes, but ingesting ayahuasca lasts two to 14 hours.Ingesting ayahuasca leads to a trip lasting two to 14 hours..

Shamans usually ingest ayahuasca to find client ailments, not to give it to patients. They then prescribe other natural remedies revealed by their hallucinations. Some areas have ayahuasca clinics where spiritual guides help users during their trips.

Terence McKenna shared many accounts from his DMT trips, both during and after. He noted what he saw.McKenna claimed his DMT experience broke through language. He could only describe it with metaphor. McKenna explained, "The syntax of description instantly inflates into a higher dimension, so you cannot tell yourself what you understand."

He stated that a"low dimensional"English could not properly explain the DMT experience.

McKenna said machine elves do not speak. Instead, theycommunicatethey communicate through telepathy, colors, shapes, and song, conveying anything. When McKenna first entered their dimension, they welcomed him warmly, and the elves made him look at everything they showed him.

McKenna later stated, "They make objects with their voices, singing structures into existence." He added, "The closest comparison is Fabergé eggs, but these things are like the toys scattered in the nursery inside a UFO, celestial toys, and the toys seem alive and can make other objects appear..."

McKenna’s descriptions led many psychonauts to share their machine elf experiences. Asone Redditor described, "I was lying down, and suddenly they were there, surrounding a different bed. They were excited and expected me. Before they could say anything, I shot into another dimension (?) and experienced an ego death..."

Joe Rogan sawsomething completely different, but he saw his own version of McKenna’s machine elves. Rogan said, "Reality dissolves, and you're there. My last [DMT trip] was strange. Jesters gave me the finger—they kept doing it. [...] I think it’s their way of telling you not to take yourself seriously."

McKenna thought his DMT experiences were inaccurate. What he saw broke human language limits, and he gave metaphors. Metaphorically, the entities he saw were elves, but he believed they could look totally different for someone else.

McKenna said the elves' true nature was unknown, so he only guessed their reality. He thought they could be aliens, ghosts, beings from another dimension, or evenhumanity from the far distant future

Take the experience content seriously. They say., "I am apparently in contact with diminutive English-speaking creatures of some sort," then they must be intelligent beings from another universe, or humans from a far future world. In that future, humans use language and stand only two and a half feet tall. That puts it way in the future.

Skilled shamans pull DMT from plants using natural, organic methods. Most illicit DMT in the United States lacks this access. When materials are missing, home-taught DMT uses a variety of poisonous substances to extract it from plants.a variety of poisonous substancesPeople extract DMT from plants.

Street DMT extractors often use muriatic acid, found in pool cleaner. They also use lighter fluid and lye.

McKenna’s DMT experiences led other scientists to study the drug's effects. Some researchers doubt McKenna’s claims about the "entities" he met. Others look into the link between humans and DMT. Robin Carhart-Harris tries toResearchers map brain activity.after exposure to DMT.
