First Date Horror Stories That Ended In Criminal Charges

About this list

Horrible first dates are a dime a dozen. Singles searching for love often look in the wrong places, like blind dates that usually crash and burn, or bar hookups that fizzle out after a few weeks. Online dating isn't much better, with Tinder frequently mismatching couples. Face-to-face conversations often falter after texting. The individuals on this list, however, have the worst first date stories - ones that ended with police intervention. Devin Norling and Sydney Sanders, for example, now have criminal records thanks to their first date. Leon Shaw's story is even more tragic, as he's no longer alive to warn others about relationship dangers. Is true love worth the hassle?
