In August 2015, a Reddit user stumbled upon a picture of Rami Malek as Elliot Alderson from the USA network show Mr. Robot. The image, featuring Malek with an arrogant look and folded arms, sparked a wave of hilarious hacking memes reminiscent of the original Hackerman memes from the Swedish comedy Kung Fury. These memes, which started in 2015, poke fun at a character with an inflated sense of self-esteem who's just solved a simple technical issue. Mr. Robot fans know Elliot Alderson as a sullen and serious expert hacker, making the picture of a smiling Rami Malek - clearly taken during a break in production - a humorous juxtaposition. The addition of a cocky look on his face makes the Mr. Robot Hackerman memes even funnier. Check out some of the most hilarious Mr. Robot Hackerman memes online and vote for your favorites.
